Welcome to Gisborne Intermediate School

Gisborne Intermediate is focused on meeting the unique characteristics and needs of emerging adolescents. Our aim is to grow great people by working in partnership with parents, in preparing our young people for living in the 21st century and to be positive, contributing members of society.

School donations/fees

GisInt does not ask for a school donation or have fees for any curriculum-related activities.
There are some optional extra-curricular activities where a contribution may be requested.

Stationery

This is provided by the school to all students at no cost to families.

Being sun smart

Students are expected to wear hats or caps when they are outside in Terms 1 & 4. School hats and caps will be available for purchase through the Argyle Schoolwear website. We do have some caps at school for sale. It is not compulsory to purchase one of these and any form of hat or cap is acceptable. We also have no issue with students wearing sunglasses when outside if they wish to protect their eyes.
