Please report to the quad under the sails.
Students and any whānau in attendance meet out the front of the school office on the grassed area. They will be met by one of the teachers at 8.40am. The staff and Y8s will welcome on new students and their whānau with a Powhiri. This will commence at 8.45am and last for about 20mins. Students then find out which learning hub they have been allocated for the year. Parents are welcome to hang around until students have headed off to class.
8.00am—3.30pm from Tuesday 2nd February 2021.
GisInt does not ask for a school donation or have fees for any curriculum related activities. There are some optional extra-curricular activities where a contribution may be requested.
This is provided by the school to all students at no cost to families.
Every child gets access to free school lunches at GisInt.
Our school has a café on site which is open at intervals.
Students are expected to wear hats or caps when they are outside in Terms 1 & 4. School hats and caps will be available for purchase through the Argyle Schoolwear website. We do have some caps at school for sale. It is not compulsory to purchase one of these and any form of hat or cap is acceptable. We also have no issue with students wearing sunglasses when outside if they wish to protect their eyes.
